Germany - Arson attack damages Jewish cemetery
An arson attack damaged the door of a building at the New Jewish Cemetery in the eastern German city of Dresden, before it was spotted by an alert woman cyclist, police said.
The fire smouldered against the front door of the funeral parlour where bodies await burial. Firefighters quickly put it out. The cemetery is located east of the city centre.
Police said they were looking for witnesses and believed a right- wing motive for the attack was possible.
